Vung Vieng village

Me and my family went to Floating Fishing Village called Vung Vieng village by Garden Bay Luxury Cruise. The village is very quiet and clean, surroundings with breathtaking view of rocky islands. We were dropped off by a tender at a big floating lodge, probably built for tourists; Information Center, I think. There were toilets, a map and a cat too. (´。• ᵕ •。`) ♡

They gave us choice between bamboo boat and kayaking to go around the Vung Vieng area. A bamboo boat is a good choice if you don’t want to take any action. Just sit and relax. We chose kayaking. It was fun too. (๑˘︶˘๑)

It started from the main floating lodge. It took about 40mns to come back. On the way, we saw a small floating school for children, fishing houses, fishing boats, and some village dogs too. Doing kayak slowly while looking at these beautiful surroundings was very nice experience.

Koh Andet Eco Resort

Have you ever been to Koh Andet Eco Resort?

It’s such a peaceful place surrounded by breathtaking views of mountain, river and beautiful waterfall. It turns out to be the perfect hide out from noisy life and a great place to enjoy the beauty of nature.

I stayed there overnight and I felt it wasn’t enough at all. I wanted to stay 1 or 2 more nights. For those who like remote natural places, I highly recommend you this accommodation.

It is located on Koh Andet Island, Tatai River, Koh Kong province which is about 280km from Phnom Penh to Tatai bridge (6 hours) and another 20 minutes by boat to reach the resort.
